When I saw Makies, I went crazy over them. I wanted one really bad. No, I wanted two, one to be me and one to be my Hubby. Why did I want them so bad? Not because of their faces. Not because of their bodies. Because of their glasses and shoes. Tons of different styles guaranteed to fit. I wanted them so bad because of glasses and shoes. Seems silly now, doesn't it? Yeah. I wanted glasses and shoes to fit something for a change. Totally not worth getting a whole doll for.

I'm gonna see if their glasses will fit dolls I have, because I love glasses, but other than that, I've decided to let go of the Makie dream and focus on the precious dolls I have. <3

Goodbye to Two Hujoos

These two precious little Hujoo Berries are looking for a new home. They are gently used, no marks or stains. They both have face-ups, hand painted by me, but you can change them if you like. Each comes with the set of eyes you see in the picture for free! Each one is a rare skintone, cocoa and white. I'm selling them at $25 each, or $40 for them both together. Please adopt them!

I need to jumpstart my life again, by doing something new. I've been out of work since last summer, and even though I send out 3 resumes and job applications each day, I haven't gotten any nibbles since January. I need to learn a new skill to get back into the workforce.

This wasn't a random decision. I want to be a nail technician so that I can make people feel pretty, and happier about themselves. I want to help them cheer up after a rough week, or celebrate an event coming up, like a prom or wedding. I'm also very good at painting small things, like collectible dolls and gaming miniatures, so I think I have the chance to really show off my artistic side by painting really fun nails for people.

Tuition is $3500.00 and the toolkit and books add up to $500.00. I'm only asking for what I need. Please consider helping me change my life for the better. Thank you!

Profile: Amiga

 This is Amiga, my first SD sized doll.  I got her this year, 2014, and she's a few firsts for me.  She's my first doll since I went on hiatus in 2012.  I know that's just one thing, but it's pretty big for me, lol.  Gotta worry about eyes and wigs like with the Hujoos, but she is an Obitsu, so she's got all the great pose-ability of my other little ones.  I'm so lucky I found her body on Ebay, because it isn't made anymore.  And with magnet feet!  Lucky me!

I named her Amiga because I have a friend who calls me amiga all the time.  I know it means friend in Spanish.  It suits her.

Personality and story-wise, I haven't decided much.  Her favorite colors are pastels, favorite fabric is velour or panne.  She dreams of being a famous romance writer, and likes her tiny eraser cat.  I need to get her a more realistic cat...
